ONE
1. Enroll in the Pre-Licensing Course
The Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) requires you complete the 63-hour Florida sales associate pre-licensing course. This course can be taken online. You can click here for a direct link to our school page where you can take the class online.


TWO
2. File DBPR License Application
You must apply for your Florida sales associate license with the Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR). You can print or fill out the application HERE.
THREE
3. Complete Fingerprinting
The FREC will conduct a criminal background check using your fingerprints. Having a criminal history does not immediately disqualify you from licensure. Your application may be reviewed by the FREC. You can click here for the link to schedule an appointment to get the fingerprints done


FOUR
4. Schedule State Exam
Once your DBPR application is approved, you may schedule your state exam. You’ll receive an email from Pearson VUE with your FLREAPP number. You may schedule your exam before you have completed the course. You can schedule your state exam HERE.
FIVE
5. Pass End of Course Exam
The end of course exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions. You must score at least a 70% to pass. Upon passing you will be issued the completion certificate required for your state exam.


SIX
6. Pass State Exam
The state exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions. You must score at least a 75% to pass. Upon passing you will immediately be issued your Florida real estate sales associate license.
